The Bioengineering Division is a
research, teaching, and professional engineering component of the Department of
Surgery. The overall activities of the division include fields of
Biomaterials Science, Biomedical Engineering, and Clinical Engineering.
- Biomedical Engineering -
- The faculty of the division participate in two teaching programs.
- The first is a joint graduate program between UMDNJ and Rutgers University leading to masters and doctorate degrees.
- About 100 graduate students are enrolled in this program which also includes other members of the Department of Surgery faculty.
- Biomaterials Science -
