Welcome to the University Center for Plastic Surgery
We offer the complete range of plastic and reconstructive surgery services for both adults
and children. Our surgeons are nationally and internationally renowned for their surgical and research
contributions to plastic surgery. Dr. Borah has trained at some of the finest medical centers in the world
including Harvard, Oxford and Yale. He is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is an
active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
The Center is a prime component of the University Medical Group (UMG) at the UMDNJ-Robert
Wood Johnson Medical School. All of our doctors are full time faculty members at this premier academic
medical institution. In addition to providing patient care, each surgeon is involved in clinical research
as well as the teaching of all types of cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. These scholarly activities
allow us to achieve our goal of providing the highest quality service by using the most advanced techniques
and skill for optimal medical care.
