How We Evaluate our Residents
A web based evaluation system
allows for faculty of each rotation to submit to the
Education Office a consensus evaluation for each
resident. In addition, twice each year residents
evaluate one another. Each categorical resident takes
the American Board of Surgery In-Training
Examination (ABSITE) in January. Third, fourth, and
fifth year residents participate twice a year in a mock
oral examination.
